I had the opportunity to participate in Shushanna’s Identity workshop. There was a moment in my life when all the pillars of my life had fallen- divorce, death, losing my job, health challenges, etc.I was feeling like a tornado, spinning around, not knowing when these events would be over and where they were leading me to. As an onion, with each event happening, my self-confidence, purpose and identity started to fade away to the point where I didn’t know who I was anymore. Shushanna helped me redefine my identity, to distinguish between my false and true identity and focus on what really makes me happy and to recognize my strengths and skills that I had overlooked and dismissed. To stand up again hasn’t been easy, but I can say with confidence that today, I bounced back and became more resilient, thanks to the tools and advice she shared with me, based on my own individual needs. Finally, I just want to add that her book has been my nightstand companion since then.
